Farm Girl Vintage Prep…

I think I have an illness. I’m sure I’m not alone in the world of quilters. Whenever I start a new project I want to buy new fabric. While I’ve been anticipating the start of the Farm Girl Vintage sew along, my behavior has been no different, I’ve spent a great deal of time looking at fabric online to get some ideas. But I realized that not only do I have some Lori Holt fabrics in my stash I also have many fabrics that will work with this sew along. So I spent some time over the weekend going through my fabric and pulled a stack of fat quarters that I thought would be right for this adorable quilt. I realized that I was short on orange fabrics, I don’t really like orange. Even as a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, I don’t like orange. So I let myself buy a few orange fat quarters and I also bought some yardage of the navy, Swiss dot on white for my background fabric. This is going to be so cute. I’ve decided I’m going to make the sampler with the 6″ blocks. I can hardly wait until Friday!!!
