So last weekend, my best friend came over and she brought me a beautiful azalea plant to thank me for her friendship during some recent difficult times. I am very appreciative of the gift and I think azalea’s are beautiful but there is no way my brown thumb can keep this plant alive in Colorado. So mom has agreed to come to the rescue and take the poor plant off my hands. We’ll all be better for it and I can visit it when I go see my folks.
But the real reason we’re here is to look at all the cherry cuteness. I finished the tablerunner I am going to give mom for mother’s day. It’s the cherry block from Lori Holt’s book Farm Girl Vintage and it is so adorable. She is going to love this. It’s perfect with summer coming!
