Can you believe it is September 2? This is Labor Day weekend here and that traditionally signals the end of summer. Here in the Denver area temperatures have dropped in the evenings and the mornings have been so much cooler. In the mountains they’re already getting snow accumulation above 12,000 feet. I noticed the other day that the leaves on the young locust tree by my patio are already turning.
As usual, I’m linking up with Amanda at Gypsy Moon Quilt Co. to share the 5 things that made me smile this week. Here’s my list…
- Sitting under the covered portion of the patio while it rains and thunders all around you.
- Catching up with an old friend while at the Farmer’s Market.
- Splurging on a painting at an Art Show in the park.
- Singing as loud as you can with a friend at a concert.
- 4 day weekends!

Yay for the first signs of fall color. I haven’t seen it yet around here but the acorns are certainly starting to drop. Happy long weekend Stephanie!

Happy Labor Day weekend! The leaves have already started changing here too, although I haven’t seen any snow on the mountains yet. But I’m sure it can’t be far behind! I hope you have a lovely four day weekend. Thanks for linking up and sharing your happy! ☺️
