I Finished Chasing Chevrons…

So last week I finished my Chasing Chevrons quilt that I started about 5 years ago. You can read about how I resurrected this quilt at this post. The day after I finished binding the quilt we decided to go for a ride in the mountains so I thought the quilt would like to come along for an adventure.

When I started this quilt, it was my first attempt using white as a background fabric. The rest of the fabrics are fat quarters I had in turquoise, yellow, orange and brown. The binding fabric is an orange stripe from Backyard Roses by Ellis & Higgs. For the backing, I had a large cut of a brown, orange and yellow 30s print in my stash from 5 years ago. At this rate, I’m starting to run out of WIPs from the past. That’s a great feeling!
