A Mystery Update and the Blogger’s Quilt Festival…

I finally had time to complete my September sewing for the Meadow Mystery Quilt Along, this month was all about half square triangles. As I was writing this I was kind of blown away by how quickly September has gone by. I wish thing would slow down a bit because September is my favorite month I’d like to enjoy it a little longer.I have to say that sewing these blocks together was quite the experience. Most of the fabrics I’m using are Paperie from Amy Sinibaldi. The fabrics seem almost like delicate tissue and seem so luxurious.

If you are not participating in the Meadow Mystery Quilt Along there is still time to do so. You can find all the information you need at Meadow Mist Designs.

Also… don’t forget that voting is now open for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival hosted by Amy Ellis at Amy’s Creative Side. Be sure to visit her site to view all the beautiful quilts that have been entered in the various categories.

This is the first year that I have entered the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I entered the Small Quilt category with my red and white log cabin quilt.
