1/3 of Designer Mystery…

I love yellow, when I was a young girl my bedroom was yellow and white and I had that white furniture that I think most young girls had in the 1970s. With a canopy. I loved that bedroom so much. I still love yellow but now I love it in nature and especially in quilts. This block for the latest Fat Quarter Shop 2016 Designer Mystery is like a square of sunshine. It was an interesting block to make, I’ve never seen this block before. It was fun to do and came together pretty easily.

At this point we’re 1/3 of the way through the quilt along. I’d like to get caught up on the sashing frames for each of the blocks, maybe it’s something I can do at the quilting retreat I have coming up next week!
