A Quilt Retreat…

Over the last weekend, I was lucky enough to go to Frisco, CO for a quilt retreat with 5 other wonderful quilters. Frisco is about an hour and 15 minutes from Denver in the mountains near Dillon Reservoir and within 20 minutes of 3 big ski areas. We had been talking about doing this for a while and the perfect opportunity presented itself this last weekend. As you can see we were very well prepared quilters both with quilting supplies and with food supplies. I can assure you that not all that food was consumed. We did have wonderful food; roasted chicken, white chicken chili, amazing  breakfast food, baked goods and lots of snacks. And wine.

I was able to get a great amount of sewing done which you will get to see soon. In the meantime enjoy these photos of fall still hanging on in the Rockies!

We were in Colorado 2 weeks ago and the trees in the mountains are breath taking. You can describe the beauty, but it is also the smell of the pine trees, and hearing the leaves shimmering. You live in a beautiful State,

Quilting retreats are just good for the quilting soul. Glad you were able to meet up with your group and share laughs and what looks like great food 🙂
