Meadow Mystery Catch Up…

You know what’s really nice? When you have the tools to make a job so much easier. I finally finished the October directions for the Meadow Mystery Quilt. Lots of half square triangles to make hourglass blocks. All of those blocks had to be squared up to 4.5″. So I pulled out my rotating cutting mat and a 4.5″ square and got to cutting.

All of that trimming led to a pretty pile of hourglass blocks. So many people in the Facebook group have come up with some really creative layouts for these blocks. I still am not quite sure how this quilt pattern is going to turn out but I sure am enjoying working on it.

I’ve read good things about the rotating cutting mat. It does help to have the right tools and who wouldn’t want to make the work easier? 😁

Beautiful fabric choices and great pictures. You must have a lot of light.
