I’m An Island Batik Ambassador…

I am so excited to share with you that I have been selected as a 2017 Ambassador for Island Batik Fabrics!!! The Ambassador program began in 2014, comprised of enthusiastic, fabric-loving individuals to help spread the word about the vibrant fabrics from Island Batik. All of the Island Batik fabrics are handmade in Bali using a wax resist method, to create patterns and give the fabric depth and range of color. The fabrics are laid out in the sun to dry and allow the colors to set. I’m really impressed with Island Batik’s philosophy of working to make the community where the fabrics are made in Bali successful.

What this means for you and me is that throughout the year I will get to work with great designers and share projects that are made with Island Batik fabrics. Island Batiks has created a full schedule for the Ambassadors for this year starting this month. Make sure you are following Quilt’n Party so you can be sure to not miss anything (there may be a giveaway here and there).
