Executing A Plan…

Mini Madness

For the month of March, Island Batik Fabrics has asked the Ambassadors to create a mini quilt using the paper piecing method. I’ve done paper piecing in the past but it is not my favorite method of making a quilt. Of course I wanted to challenge myself more than necessary and decided that I wanted to create my own pattern. I spent some time looking over line drawings and came up with the idea to create some simple mountain peaks. I gave you a sneak peak last week.

I also pulled some Island Batik fabrics that I will potentially use for this mini. Surprise, surprise there’s a lot of purple in there. Purple is not a color I normally use. You may or may not see all these fabrics in the final product. Next week I will be able to share the finished mini!
