I know, it’s been a while, but during 2017 I was caught up in making many, many red and blue Sawtooth Star blocks of 2 different sizes. Early this year, my favorite long arm quilter got her hands on the quilt and did some quilting.
I quickly attached the binding and then there the quilt sat. For some reason I didn’t rush out to photograph this quilt and now I know why. I was waiting for Independence Day! Because this quilt is perfect for using as part of the celebration.
Holly, the longarm quilter that I like to have do my quilts thought her swirly feathers in a light blue would stand out nicely in the borders. I really like them.
I think the Sawtooth Star quilt is perfect for sitting by the lake and watching fireworks. I hope you have a fun and safe Independence Day!
