Trying To Make Progress…

2018 started out rough when my local, dependable, and gifted long arm quilter let me know that she was moving out of state.  I was devastated… first because she’s such a wonderful person and I was going to miss her chats and two because my train of productivity was going to come to a screeching halt. So I’ve sat on finished quilt tops for most of the year. I’ve decided to take the plunge and send this quilt top, Churned Up off to an online long arm quilter. I’m not going to mention who it is right now but I will let you know how it all turns out. Fingers crossed that it goes well!

In other exciting news, my favorite long arm quilter that moved away earlier this year reached out and let me know that she now has her long arm machine all set up at her new home and she’s ready to start again. So I’m shipping my quilt top from Cora’s Moonlit Paths mystery quilt off to her. I hope this also goes well. I will keep you informed!

  1. This all seems like good news! If you’re still able to send some of your tops to your favorite quilter, that’s awesome! I have a t-shirt quilt in progress that’s going to get sent out to an online quilter too because I see them doing t-shirt quilts relatively frequently.
