Can you believe it’s already the Fourth of July? To me, this is kind of the mid-point of the calendar year. Once you’ve celebrated Independence Day, it’s time to start thinking about autumn and holiday sewing. But first enjoy this holiday.
I love the small town, Americana feeling of Independence Day. It’s a holiday that brings families and communities together. Seeing the Stars and Stripes displayed always makes me happy.
It’s no secret that I love red and blue fabric and I realized that I have a couple of quilts that are perfect for celebrating Independence Day. The first is my finish from Cora’s Moonlit Path’s quilt along in 2018. This quilt is one of my favorite finishes ever. It’s queen sized and so pretty.
Another quilt that I have that is perfect for Independence Day is my red, white and blue Star Quilt. This quilt is made up of Sawtooth Stars that are 12″ or 6″ and there’s a variety of fabrics. Whichever red, white and blue quilt you prefer, I hope you have a fun and safe Independence Day with your family and friends.
