9 Free Autumn Projects…

If you’ve been following Quilt’n Party long enough, you know that Autumn is my favorite season. So, to celebrate the arrival of Autumn and the beginning of October I have put together a list of some FREE projects for some inspiring sewing.

First up, these cute stuffed pumpkins. I made a pile of these years ago and still decorate with them every Autumn. Sew What’s New has a great video tutorial to help you make these cuties.

Kristina at Center Street Quilts has a free tutorial to make these so sweet quilt blocks. You could come up with any number of cute quilted projects with these Halloween quilt blocks.

Over at Moda Bake Shop is this great Candy Stars Mini Quilt designed by Jen Daly. This project comes together easily with a mini charm pack and some yardage.

I know… I know… curves can be scary. But wouldn’t this quilt look lovely in an Autumn palette? The perfect quilt to challenge you to tackle your fear of curves (and they’re not so scary). Angela at Cut to Pieces designed this beauty for Robert Kaufman.

Bev at Flamingo Toes designed this cutie. I love this one so much. I think this one would make a great hostess gift for a Halloween Party.

100225803_600wLook at this beauty filled with Flying Geese from All People Quilt. This free pattern would be amazing in Halloween fabrics or Autumn fabrics.

I love the brilliance of the disappearing 9 Patch block. Amanda at Jedi Craft Girl has a great tutorial to make this super fun quilt.

I have always admired the Modern Maples quilt designed by Amanda Woodward Jennings. This is such a great pattern that is available for free.

Lastly, I want to share these cute Acorn Fabric Ornaments designed by Nadra of Ellis & Higgs. These are another great idea for a quick, last minute gift idea.

I hope you enjoyed the list of free project tutorials that I came up with for you. Let me know if you end up making any of them!
