Year End Wrap Up…

We’re just about at the end of 2019, ready to start a brand new decade. 2019 has been a year of change for me personally, specifically  mom and I decided that it made sense for me to move in with her since dad passed. Between consolidating homes and the actual move, my quilting kind of took a back seat for a while and I was barely blogging. Once I was settled, it was hard to find a space for me to sew in as I no longer have a dedicated sewing room. Now I’m sewing in the office, but I have my own little nook with some quilts on display and my computer and printer nearby. It took me a while to find my groove but I think I have. So thanks to those of you who stuck around, you are all troopers.  When I was thinking about writing this post I wasn’t sure if I was going to find much to share as far as finished projects but I was pleasantly surprised. So here’s my 2019 recap.

It’s nice to see that list of finishes and have the realization that 2019 was a productive year for me. It’s a nice way to move forward into 2020. I’m really excited about my plans for the new year, reaching some of the goals I have set for myself related to quilting and I’m super excited about the opportunity to be a Brand Ambassador for Michael Miller fabrics. I hope you take some time to review what you were able to accomplish in 2019 and that it inspires you to do even more in 2020!

You managed to make a lot of great projects in 2019. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be close, but I think Churned Up tops the list. Very clever! I am going to post my quilts at the end of the year, but did post the ones with the most comments as a part of this linkup.

What an absolutely gorgeous bunch of finishes. That churn dash is fabulous (I have a thing for churn dash quilts), as well as your Moonlit Path. Those coasters are adorable.

I’m sorry about the loss of your dad. I wish you and your mom many happy memories together.

You have beautiful pictures with beautiful projects to share. I am also happy for you to go be with your mother. Treasure those times even though you are still finding your place there. Change can be hard and it can be fun.

I love your Jolly Braid Tote and your Moonlit Path is to die for!
