If you’re following along with Lori Holt at Bee In My Bonnet, you’ll see that somehow I am only a couple weeks behind on these cute Farm Girl Vintage 2 blocks. Woo Hoo! I love it when I’m keeping up.
This week I worked on the Horse block. I’ve been dreading this one because I read somewhere that there are 76 pieces in this 12″ block. I’m going to be honest with you, there were a couple of places where I had to remove stitches and re-sew. The block is challenging. But it is darn cute. I still need to embroider the handle on the oat bucket, but I needed to walk away from this one for a minute.
After I recovered from the Horse block I worked on the Bee Block. Lori calls it the Honey Bee block in her Farm Girl Vintage 2 book. This was a nice simple block after the Horse block. I love that gray print that I used for the wings, I think it’s so cute and the perfect shade of gray. See you next week with more Farm Girl Vintage 2!
