What Would You Call It?

I really don’t know where May has gone, or the entire Spring season for that matter. It’s no secret that I have not felt much like sewing during this quarantine period but I did manage to get this super cute quilt top finished several of the Michael Miller Fabrics basics. This quilt top is an original design by me!

This is a big block, it measures 15″ x 15″ finished. I used  a fabulous green Cotton Couture solid for the stems and leaves. For the flowers I used Garden Pindot and Gingham Play in a few different colors.

Of course I still need to quilt this adorable quilt. I have a few ideas and need to settle on something. But most importantly I need to come up with a name for this adorable quilt. Hollyhocks and Sweet Peas come to mind but I”m not sure since it has a modern feel. What would you name it?

Sooo pretty! I would call it “Love in Bloom”.

Sweat Pea Vine is what I first thought of when I saw it.

This is a lovely design! And you’ve gotten over the issue of stems without resorting to applique! Excellent!
