It’s time for the June Color Challenge. This month we are celebrating all things blue.
Traditionally, blue has been associated with royalty, art and military. The earliest known use of blue pigment is in Egyptian decorations, Egyptians also used blue in their jewelry. Blue is also very prominent in art, in everything from blue and white Chinese porcelain to Van Gogh paintings.
The blue I went with for this month’s block matches the blue in the Egyptian mural up above more than it matches the blue color sample.
Be sure to check out Patterns by Jen for more information on this month’s 2020 Color Challenge block.
